SNOW April Fool fooled us one day late with the snow that was readily laid and left most of us at work or ^stranded and possibly even arriving home many hours late. Some men from the subdivision were out late Wednesday night trying to remove the snow that alreatjy had accumulated. By Thursday night most of the roads had been cleared by the grader and Mr. Chappel's equipment, &s the truck isn't in the best of running conditions. I think the men did a terrific job and should be told how much we appreciated their work. After being in Chicago Thursday night and seeing the condition of their streets, our subdivision looked fantastic. Chicago only had main streets plowed and the side streets were lined with cars that couldn't move in or out. We were fortunate to be on the streets and go to the main roads with very little trouble. ANNIVERSARY Best wishes to Ray and Cheri Hoglund as they celebrate their anniversary next Thursday, April 17. INCORPORATION There has been no word as yet to how the incorporation proceedings are going. As soon as the decision is made it will be stated in the paper. We must keep in mind the benefits that we will receive when we do incorporate. It's the best possible way to get our com munity the way we really would like to see it. GIRLSPORTS Pat Chappel just finished the season on the Junior varsity basketball team and is beginning baseball practice. PUNCH LINE O F T H E W E E K SOME AFTER-1 DINNER.
