STAFF PHOTO-WAYNE GAYLORD Legal Notice ORDINANCE NO. 3-0-75 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE OF LAKEMOOR LIQUOR CON­ TROL AND LIQUOR LICENSING ORDINANCE 1970 BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lakemoor, Illinois: SECTION 1: That Paragraph 1 of Section V is amended as follows: V. CLASSIFICATION -FEES Such licenses shall be and are hereby divided into seven (7) classes, to wit: SECTION 2: That Section V of the Liquor Control and Liquor Licensing Ordinance is hereby further amended by adding to the classification - fees section, the following: (7) CLASS AA LICENSE - which shall authorize the retail sale of alcoholic liquor in restaurants, when purchased with food only for consumption on the premises where sold. The annual fee for such license shall be Six Hundred ($600.00) Dollars. SECTION 3: That Section VI of the Liquor Control and Liquor Licensing Ordinance of the Village of Lakemoor be amended by adding the following to the limitations and termination provisions: (g) CLASS AA - ONE (1). SECTION 4: That Section VIII of the Liquor Control and Liquor Licensing Ordinance of the Village of Lakemoor be amended by striking the entire provisions of that section and substituting therefore the following: DISPOSITION OF FEES. All fees collected under this Ordinance, either for original applications or transfer fees, shall be turned over to the Village Treasurer. In the event that the license or transfer applied for is denied, or the application therefore is with­ drawn by the applicant, the fee shall be returned to the ap­ plicant; provided however, that the sum of $30.00 shall be retained by the treasurer and deposited in the General Corporate Fund to defray the costs incident to the processing of said applications. If the license or transfer is granted, then the fee shall be deposited in the General Corporate Fund or in such other fund as shall have been designated by the counsel. Secretarial Science Exams Set April 25 McHenry County college has over the years developed a Secretarial Science Proficiency Exam program available for students enrolled at MCC. The program has now been ex­ panded to include high school secretarial science students who have learned the basic skills at a high school level. In this way, the student gets credit for his or her skill achieved in high school without having to repeat the course on the college level. This program is available to students planning to attend MCC starting in Summer and- or Fall 1975. The student must enroll at MCC to be given credit. This credit will be held in escrow until the student registers for courses. The tests will be given Friday, April 25, as follows: Typing I-- 9 a.m.; Typing I and II - 1 p.m.; Shorthand I - 11 a.m,;,#and Shorthand I and II -- 3 p.m. Anyone interested should contact the Secretarial Science department at MCC to register and for additional information. CONCERT Sonshine Circle will be presenting a concert of con­ temporary Christian music at the Woodstock Community high school Thursday, April 24 , at 7:30 p.m. The group is spon­ sored by the Woodstock Ministerial association and Mission Possible while in Woodstock. Using the sounds of today's gospel-folk music, Sonshine Circle communicates God's love through Bible-based lyrics and the spoken word. There will be no admission charge; a free will offering will be received. Transatthnal Analysis Seminar Scheduled By MCC A second Transactional Analysis seminar will be held two consecutive Thursdays, April 24 and May 1, by McHenry County college. The seminar will be held at the Bethany Lutheran church in Crystal Lake with Sue Halaska, counselor at the college, serving as instructor. Any resident of the college district may attend. Anyone interested in attending may sign up at the registration of­ fice at the interim campus in Crystal Lake. For more in­ formation on the seminar, call the Office of Community Services at the college. Five From McHenry Earn Degrees At State University Five McHenry persons are among the 1,267 Northern Illinois university students who c o m p l e t e d d e g r e e requirements at the end of the fall semester. A trade- in of $700 will be allowed for a 1963 Chevrolet bus. He has chosen the University of Illinois in Champaign and has been ac­ cepted for electrical engineering for the fall term. Keith was born in McHenry and attended Valley View grade school and McHenry Junior high school. After graduation in June of 1971, he went to Titusville, Fla., and attended Jackson Junior high for one year and Titusville high school for three years. Then he joined the Junior NROTC. He entered competition for the scholarship his last year of high school, and will graduate this June. The young man is the son of Charles and Ruth Bates of Titusville, Fla.
