Speaker for the evening will be Dorothy Devine, a Community Mental Health Worker for the Family Service and Mental Health Clinic in Woodstock. Ms. Devine will have available recent resource materials on helping those in need within McHenry County. These materials could be very helpful to all FISH members. The dinner will be a time of good fellowship and good food and anyone planning to be present should come to the church hall at 5;30 p.m. and bring a dish to pass along with their own table service. ANNIVERSARY Former Wonder Lakers, Art and Edna LaGreca, celebrated their forty-fifth wedding an niversary with their children on Monday, April 14. The LaGrecas, who were married on April 30, 1930, enjoyed a delicious dinner at a restaurant in Crystal Lake with Art and Sharon Doyle, Jim and Barb LaGreca of Wonder Lake and Bill and Barb Fiala of Crystal Lake. Longtime owners of the former LaGreca's Tavern in Wonder Lake, Art and Edna now own and operate a restaurant in Freeport. BALLOON LANDING Oakwood Shores residents were surprised and delighted when one of those huge passenger balloons hovered over the field behind their lots and then landed on Sunday, April 13. A deluge of kids and curious adults ran out to see the two men who had traveled here from Crystal Lake and watch them pack the whole thing away in a trailer attached to a van. Everyone agreed that we wouldn't mind regular visits from the friendly crew and their interesting object of transportation - especially when they popped open the traditional bottle of champagne they carried aboard and passed it around to their welcoming committee!
