/ PAGE 6_^ PLAINDEALER-WEDNESDAY, APRIL 23, 1975 McHenry Relays Friday Night By Dick Rabbitt On Friday evening at Mc- Cracken Field McHenry high school will host the 10th Annual McHenry Relays. Eleven schools will be competing for the title, which has been won by Kaneland the past four years. In last year 's event Kaneland won the title in the final event, just edging out the Warriors. Kaneland again will be the pre- meet favorite, but the Warriors will be gunning for their initial win in the Relays. Ten years ago Don Sea ton. who was then head coach of the Warriors, started what is now one of the finest small track meets in the state. Only three schools competed the first year, McHenry, Cary Grove, and the 1st winner Belvidere. Belvidere dropped out of the meet several years ago. As the years progressed more teams were added, until this year there are eleven competing. It is hopeful that next year a 12th team will be added.
