(DON PEASLEY PHOTOGRAPHY) Production Credit Group Sets New Record Growth in the number of farmers served for the present year has helped the Northeast Illinois Production Credit association establish a new record in loans outstanding. Gene Slack, Northeast Illinois PCA president, said this week. ' Slack and members of the board had a dinner for all employees of this farmer- owned cooperative to report on the fact that the Northeast Illinois PCA has exceeded $10 million in outstanding loans, an all-time record. The Northeast Illinois PCA selves farmers in Lake. Boone and McHenry counties and is directed by a board composed of farmers elected from the three counties. The PCA provides farmers with short- term and intermediate-term loans for any farm operation. Slack said the PCA served fifty-six more farmers in* the past year than it did the year before, the first time in several years that the number of far­ mers served increased in this era when the number of people farming is on the decline. Slack said the local PCA is second in the state in the SERVICE NEWS A Spring Grove man has graduated at Chanute AFB, 111., from the technical training course for U S Air Force in­ strument systems equipment specialist. MOVE SUNDAY MINISTRIES A young Crystal Lake church with an area outreach will move its Sunday morning ministries into the Canterbury school next Sunday, April 27. The congregation of Full Gospel tabernacle, under its new pastor, the Reverend Henry Jauhiainen, will use the gymnasium of the school, located in the Coventry district near the intersection of Virginia street and Three Oaks road just south of Route 14. for its 11 a.m. Sunday morning worship service.
