The library has been the Woman's club's main philanthropic project for many years. William J. Bolger, president of the Library board, accepted the check in the library's behalf. Mrs. Nelson expressed en­ thusiasm for the fine response of the public to this benefit. Three McHenry Students Will Be Carthage Graduates Three McHenry students will be among the 379 candidates for Bachelor of Arts degrees at Carthage college's 101st annual commencement exercises scheduled for Sunday, May 18, in the college's Phys-Ed center. John T. Johnston of 3803 N. Hillcrest place is a Physical Education major. He is a graduate of Marian Central Catholic high school. LeRoy E. Hartwig of 2501 W. Aspen drive and William H. Scott of 2601 W. Knob Hill, are both Business Administration majors. Scott is a graduate of MCHS.
