Richardson, 82, 5412 Kenosha Street, Rich­ mond. died Saturday morning, May 31, at Burlington Memorial hospital. He was born Feb. 4, 1893, in English Prairie, 111., the son of Jesse and Cora Turner Richardson. He was married to Helen Kruse on Jan. 25, 1921, in Woodstock She preceded him in death on Nov. 20, 1962. Mr. Richardson was a part­ ner in the Kruse Hardware at Richmond for 46 years, retiring in 1965 He was a veteran of WWI, a member of WWI Barracks at McHenry, and a member of the Community United Church of Christ of Richmond. He was a charter member of the Paul C. Hoff­ man American Legion Post No. 253, a charter member of the McHenry County Historical Society, a director of the State Bank of Richmond and Chairman of the Board since 1963. He was a trustee and treasurer of the Richmond Township Cemeteries since 1975. In addition, he was a 50 year member of the Richmond Masonic Lodge and was presently serving as secretary. He was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Rich­ mond Chapter No. 267. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Gerald (An­ na) Brunswick of Richmond, Mrs. Thomas (Jean) Fuchs of Belvidere and Mrs. William C. (Ruth) Johnstone of McLean, Va., by seven grandchildren and a sister Mrs. Ole (Amy) Lee of Woodstock. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ena Cubbon and Ella Sweet and a brother, George. Funeral Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Ehorn-Adams Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Mensing of­ ficiating. Interment was in Richmond cemetery. Masonic services were conducted at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Richmond Rescue Squad. Survivors include her husband, Ronald, a son, Christopher Matthew, 4 months old; her parents of Elgin; two brothers, James R. McGough, serving with the U.S. navy, and Fred McGough of Elgin; two sisters, Mrs. Arnold (Judith) Schlachter and Mrs. Donald (Barbara) Clarke. Elgin; and her husband's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Blake, McHenry. The body rested at the O'Connor funeral home in Elgin. Burial was in Mount Hope cemetery.
