To all three couples we wish you happiness and joy and that the love you shared on the day of your wedding be growing daily. BEAUTIFICATION A A large number of our folks were out working in their yards, or on their homes and some even did a little or a lot of gardening. You sure can tell when nice weather is here everyone is out talking with their neighbors and out of the long winter hibernation. Eventaully the subdivision may have a new look. It would sure be nice if all the homes and flowers, and many other things had a look of someone caring. Mailboxes should be repainted if needed and your name put back on if the paint has been removed or if you have recently moved in whatever the case it's easier for the mailman to find you if he knows which box is yours. Dogs are getting to be out roaming again and just because of the nice weather it doesn't make it any more right for them to be let loose. If you by chance have a little puppy and it is white and tan I'd ad vise you to keep the little one tied or you might have a dog missing if the dog warden comes around. It isn't the dog's fault or the other people in the subdivision if your dogs are taken by the rabies control. Dogs swimming in the beach are also not permitted at any time. No pets are allowed on the beach for sanitary reasons which also deals with the health of our children. Don't forget to get collars and the rabies shots and be sure to have the little one looked over for heartworms. PUNCH LINE O F T H E W E E K LIBRARY NEWS Stamp out boredom-READ! Sandwiches will be tasty but not soggy if they're spread with butter all around the bread. LEGUMES Dried beans and peas are plen tiful right now. These are not vegetables, but rather, they are legumes and thus an excellent source of vegetable protein Both beans and peas combine well with dairy and meat groups, so they give a good quality protein, especially when used in com bination.
