Colberg, 1203 Bonnie Brae, McHenry, charged with driving while intoxicated, and illegal tran­ sportation of open liquor in a motor vehicle, charges were nolle prossed. Charles P. Krik, 3302 Woods, McHenry, charged with deceptive practice, case nolle prossed. Gary Gabriel, 2809 S. Tower, McHenry, bound over to the Grand Jury on charges of theft and burglary. Bonnie M. Heflin, 1505 Rich­ mond road, McHenry, guilty of theft under $150, fined $25 and costs. COMPLAINTS Ronald L. Nebel, Manager of Jewel Food store, McHenry, charges that on May 26, Bonnie M. Heflin of 1505 Richmond road, McHenry, committed the offense of theft under $150 in that she did take merchandise from the store having a value of less than $150. Officer William Jahn, Woodstock Police department, charges that on March 13, William P. Nicholas, McHenry, committed the offense of robbery in that he did take $947.03 of U.S. currency from Roy W. Nylander by use of force or by threatening the imminent use of force. Bond set at $10,000. Court date June 16. Amos E. Buettell charges that on May 28, Paul J. Nasby of 1604 Main street, Spring Grove, committed the offense of reckless driving in that he did drive his auto with a willful and wanton disregard for the safety of the complainant and his wife and did drive at a high rate of speed on Hillendale road and Hideaway lane, swerving, screeching tires and going through stop signs. Notice given to appear in court June 10. Patrolman Patrick J. Palmer of the Richmond Police department charges that on May 31, Thomas M. Depner of 660 Brittany Square, Grayslake, committed the offenses of leaving the scene of an accident involving injury, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and aggravated battery in that he did fail to obey a police officer after an automobile accident involving bodily injury. Bond set at $3,500, court date June 12. Patrolman Patrick Palmer charges that on May 31, Thomas M. Depner of 660 Brittany Square, Grayslake, committed the offense of theft over $150 in that he did obtain unauthorized control over a boat trailer belonging to Ed Wendt. Bond set at $10,000, court date June 12. | Fund Raising Efforts 1 For MS Purposes Sought The McHenry county Multiple Sclerosis unit held its first meeting of the year to coincide with the National M-S society fund raising campaign which is held annually between Mother's day and Father's day. The theme of this year's meeting was centered on raising funds for MS research and patient care on a local level. Although no Spring promotion is planned by the McHenry county unit, a strong Fall^ffort is being formulated. Typical "Sf-the^all promotion are. plans for a swimming program at the Crystal Lake YMCA for MS patients and all handicapped adults. Under discussion are plans to pur­ chase a hydraulic lift to aid these people in entering and leaving the pool. It is hoped that other interested organizations might contribute funds for this project. Another of the major ob­ jectives of the 1975-76 season is to communicate with all MS patients in McHenry county. Contributions are welcome. Make Arrest Of Young Girl For Drug Possession Mary Doran of 1605 N. Riverside drive, McHenry, was arrested by county police Monday night for possession of cannabis. Bond was set at $1,000 and she is to appear in court June 10. The arrest was made when deputies observed an auto with three occupants parked along Huemann drive, north of McHenry. They stopped to investigate, and in approaching the vehicle, the odor of burned cannabis was detected. A quantity of cannabis was found in Miss Doran's possession along with paraphernalia for its consumption.
