Grand Ole Opry Star To Appear At Fair Grandpa Jones, a featured performer on the Hee Haw TV show, and twenty-year veteran of the famous Grand Ole Opry, will appear at the McHenry Countyrair Saturday, Aug. 2, at 7/30 p.m. „ The enthusiastic banjo- pickra' style of Grandpa Jones has wbo3im wide acclaim in the entertainment world. Grandpa records for Monument Records and his personal appearances have taken him from coast to coast and throughout Europe. With him on stage Aug. 2 will be the Edwardians. Deaths DEBORAH AdSUIST Deborah A. Qiifst, 17, 605 N. Hill, McHenry, died July 12 at William W. Eox Children's Center, Dwight. She was born May 31, 1958, in Waukegan, the daughter of Donald and Shirley (Sweet) Quist. . * Other survivors include a sister, Theresa, 15; two brothers, David, 12, and Christopher, 5; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs, Franl^ Quist, McHenry; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Nancy Sweet, Memphis, Teqn. Visitation was held at the George R. Justen and Son funeral home, Monday. Ser­ vices and interment were private. Memorials may be made to the Easter Seal Therapy Center, Woodstock. LOUISE A. FORBES Louise A. Forbes, 80, 924 Wiltshire drive, McHenry, died July 9 in Wesley Memorial hospital, Chicago. She had been a resident of Whispering Oaks for 3 years. Survivors include her son, William P. Forbes, Jr., of the same address; and a grandson, William P. Forbes, III, of Milwauke, Wis.
