Another Barbecue Chicken Dinner Is Successful Another successful chicken barbecue at the Ringwood church last Sunday. And the weather held good for us again, of course I really think when it clouded up there in the morning a lot of prayers were said. We are grateful for all who came and enjoyed our dinner and to those who donated their time and wares. We are sure that we enjoyed serving all of you aft do hope you all enjoyed coming. Hope to see you again next year. The count of-number served isn't really in yet nor the bills paid to know just how much we made, but approximate figures say we made about what we did last year. VACATION CHURCH SCHOOL Vacation church school will be Monday, Aug. 4 through Friday, Aug. 8, 9 a.m. til 11 a.m. It will be held at the Greenwood church this year so plans will be made to leave from Ringwood church at a certain time if rides are needed. There is a small charge for expenses per family to be paid on Monday morning Aug. 4. If there are any questions about the program or tran sportation call Katie Christopher, 728-0295. Also if there is anyone who would like to help with transportation or in any other way please call Katie. MISFORTUNE Flora Carr tripped in a rut and broke her foot. Sorry to hear this. Flora. She has a cast on up to her knee-but doing fine and doesn't have any pain. Do as the doctor says, Flora, and you'll be back on both feet soon. IOWA COUSINS Iowa cousins made a surprise visit on Walt and Doris Low late last Sunday afternoon. Doyle and Carol Thomas of Cambria, Iowa, stopped by for a very short visit with the Lows but it was sure enjoyed by all. ENJpYED BY ALL The magic show put on Saturday evening by Stan Knauss of Kirkland, 111., was enjoyed by young and old. The tent on the church lawn is so versatile when it comes to programs and barbecues. See you next year with another program. 'Richard' the dummy was really charming. Eric Betts of Gasville, Ark., is visiting with his brother, Earl Betts, and family here in Ringwood. He came home with brother, Ed, when Ed went to visit his parents the Earl Betts who moved to Gasville a few years ago. How many Dorothy?? Eric will be with Earl and Tina another week or so. M.P. JAYAKUMAR CHARGE McHENRY MAN Robert L. Manson of 4215 W. Crystal Lake road, McHenry, was charged with indecent exposure by sheriff's deputies following an incident in Har vard last Friday evening. Manson committed the offense on Green road, Harvard, early Friday evening. A description, of Manson and his car were obtained and he was ap prehended while east-bound on Alden road north of Woodstock. His bond was set at $1,000. DR. JAMES H. MOWERY Dwo specialists in internal medicine have joined the staff of McHenry hospital,, it has been announced by Nicholas I. Gemell, M.D., president of the Medical-Dental staff. The two internists are M.P. Jayakumar, M.D., and Jafhes H. Mowery, M.D., who are affiliated with the McHenry Medical Group. Dr. Jayakumar recently completed his residency at the Good Samaritan t hospital, Dayton, where he also served his internship. He is a graduate of the University of Mysore, India, and received his medical degree at Karnatak Medical College. Dr. Mowery, a graduate of Northwestern university and the George Washington University School of Medicine, is a native of Canton, 111. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Nor thwestern university's Medical center, Chicago, where he also served his internship.
