The board voted to allow Patti Norris to attend West campus this Kail as a tuition student. It was noted that the tuition costs run between $1,500 and SI.600 a year. Coaching assignments for the 1975-76 school year were ac; cepted on the recommendation of William Blankenhorn, athletic director. The board learned that the District 156 share of the McHenry County Development Donation project was $74.21. This amount was approved for legal services involved. One of the superintendent 's reports concerned the proposed tuition and administrative assessment charge for 1975-76 and proposed extension of levy for the Special Education building. SEDOM Business Manager Kelly summarized the possible changes. Concerning the operation of SEDOM. the proposal is to total all program costs and assign each school an average cost. Supportive services would vary with the individual school, and central administration costs assessed on the Kali enrollment. In an effort to raise $900,000 for classroom space, the SEDOM recommendation is to increase the individual school levies by 2 or 4 cents, depending on different influencing factors. Before the board recessed for an executive session. President James Althoff suggested that it should not be necessary to keep teacher aides in the audience in suspense regarding the pay scale. Last year both in structional and non- instructional aides started at $2.10 an hour. This year the former will be paid $3 and the latter. $2.50.
