PAGE 20 - PLAINDEALER-FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17. 1975 McHenry Shores Inge Aide 344-1984 Broken Street Signs Are Result Of Vandalism Again a rash of vandalism has broken out, concentrating on street signs. It seems that very often youngsters think it great fun to confuse people that way. Have you every thought what it could mean to you and your children if the Rescue Squad, for instance, could not come to your house in time because they were not able to find the street because of a missing sign? Please, parents, point these possibilities out to your children. Once a sign has been removed it might take a while until it is replaced, especially if it was broken off completely. A PLEA FOR HALLOWEEN Although it is still two weeks till the night of trick or treat, let me ask you to, please, switch on your porch lights so that none of the little goblins get lost in the dark.
