Each den presented its project of the month, "The World of Sound" and after much deliberation, the judges announced that first place ribbon was won by Den 7, Karen Utes, den mother; second place ribbon went to Den 1, Roberta Dicker, Den mother ; and third place ribbon winner was Den 5, Sharon Doyle, den mother. The Webelos exhibited wireless radios which they had made as their "Sound" project. Cubmaster Gonzales ^an nounced that the Scouts will have a field trip Sunday, Nov. 2, to the Railway Museum in Union. Refreshments were served to parents and guests first, while the Scouts participated in bobbing for apples. The evening ended with the Living circle. Pack 145 meets next month on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at 7:30 p.m. at Nativity Lutheran church. BICENTENNIAL COMMITTEE Fourteen people were in attendance at the Oct. 14 meeting of the Bicentennial committee at the firehouse. A committee member will be checking with different bands in the area to see about having a street dance before and after the fireworks display July 4, 1976. She will report back at the next meeting about cost, working hours, etc., and will check with the Women's club about Miss Wonder Lake for 1976 riding in the parade. No information was received about insurance coverage and the fireworks display man was not able to make this meeting. Bill Sullivan agreed to be the chairman of the Finance committee and also will check with the fire department about a water fight. The next meeting for this committee will be set at a date and time that the fireworks display man can be present.
