4-H NEWS & CHERRY VALLEY CLUB After the January meeting of the Cherry Valley 4-H club was called to order by president Don Umbaugh, pledges were led by Lorl Schiller. In the line of business, it was decided to visit the Valley Hi nurstfig home. It was also announced that Dave Plocher from the county Extension office will attend the next meeting. Ticket sale . winners were Diane Chrlstianaon, first; Cheryl Wright, second; and Kris Limbuagh, third. Repents were given by Deanna Davis, Sue Schiller and Mike Atchison. Cedric Bayle gave a slide program about France. After adjournment, refreshments were served. Demonstration committee members for the next meeting are Lynell Limbaugh, Tammy Schiller, Deanna Davis, Tracy Atchison and Elaine Limbai Talks will be given by Ja Atchison. Lori Schiller, Cheryl Wrlfeht and Kris Umbaugh. The next meeting will be held at the Davis home. I \ H I l o I JOSEPH D'ANGELO Chief Joseph D'Angelo, Jr., of McHenry, was promoted to senior chief on Feb. 17 at Great Lakes Naval station. Chief D'Angelo enlisted in the Navy March 6, 1168, in Plainfield, N.J., where his parents still reside. He attended boot camp and Hospital corps school at Great Lakes. Chief D'Angelo'a naval career has taken him to Vietnam twice, where he received the following medals, the Navy Commendation medal - with Combat V, Navy Achievement medal with Combat V, Combat Action ribbon, Presidential unit citation with Bronze Star, Good Conduct-four awards, National Defense, Vietnam Service medal, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross-Unit citation, Republic of Vietnam Civic Action-Unit citation, and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Ribbon. He has also traveled the Mediterranean aboard several ships and seen many states. Prior to his return to Great Lakes, where he is the hospital career counselor, he spent seven years with the un­ derwater demolition team "21" and Seal Team "2". During that time he became a qualified parachutist and scuba diver.. Chief D'Angelo resides locally with his wife, Marijyn, and three children, Joseph, Terry and David. If he submits the "actual cost," he should attach the paid receipts, or copies thereof, for the repair or replacement done. If he sub­ mits only the "estimated cost," he should give you the paid receipts for the repair or replacement done (or copies thereof) within thirty days of the date you were given the estimate. "If no such statement and: receipts, or copies thereof, arej furnished to the lessee; (you)...the lessor (landlord)' shall return the security!, deposit in fuU."
