Corned beef and cabbage! Donald just returned from a trip to Ireland and had some interesting stories to relate One of the stories concerned the Irish hotels. No heat. They shut it off May 1st for the summer months. Of course, Donald didn't go near the troubled parts of the Old Sod where there seems to be plenty of heat. With Donald and I reviewing McHenry as far back as either of us can remember, the rest of the diners didn't have much chance. We promised to keep quiet the next time. Reporters, announcers and the fans rose up in arms when the official scorer ruled a hit instead of an error with two outs in the ninth in the Sox- California game. Nobody cai^tell them that Ken Brett» /recently acquired from the "VfjpinkejBs, didn't pitch a 9-inning np-hitter. But, as we so often hear, the judges' decision is final. CITY SIGHTS: Rev.
