Sleigh street, Naperville, committed the offense of reckless conduct in that he did cause bodily harm to Michael Reinersman in. that while ac­ ting in a reckless manner did drive an automobile at 40 mph and struck two large rocks 15 feet in diameter while allowing Reinersman to ride on the hood of the auto, said acts en­ dangering the safety of Reinersman. Shore drive, McHenry, committed the offense of disorderly conduct in that she did knowingly use obscene language in a loud voice while at the Mikeska residence and did act in an unreasonable manner. Bockhorst, 715 Center, McHenry, following too closely. Deaths GERTRUDES. BARBIAN Gertrude S. Barbian, 65, of 1501 N. Riverside drive, McHenry, one of McHenry s most prominent civic leaders for many years, died July 6 in Memorial hospital, Woodstock. Mrs. Barbian was born in Libertyville Sept. 4, 1910, the daughter of Gustov and Emily (Kay) Schwandt. . A resident of McHenry for about forty years, the deceased was a volunteer worker for the McHenry county chapter of the Red Cross for almost thirty years. She was past president of the McHenry VFW auxiliary. Fox River Post 4600, and a rural mail carrier for the McHenry post office for three years. Survivors include her husband, George, whom she married Oct. 23, 1935, in Mundelein; a brother, William Schwandt of California; and four sisters, Mrs. Lillian Sch­ wandt and Mrs. Edith Ryder, both of California, Mrs. Helen Fink, Dallas, Tx„ and Mrs. Evelyn Maiden of Libertyville. Visitation was scheduled for Thursday afternoon, 3 to 9 p.m. at the Peter M. Justen and Son funeral home. Mass will be offered at St. Mary's Catholic church, Friday at 10 a.m., with burial in the church cemetery. JACOB P.KOEHLER Jacob P. Koehler, 73, of 2915 Victoria, McHenry, died July 5 at Foster McGraw hospital, Loyola Medical center, May wood. Mr. Koehler was born in Chicago, March 19, 1903, the son of Anthony and Alberta Koehler. A resident of McHenry for more than thirty years, the deceased had been employed as a truck driver for Alexander Lumber company for twenty years prior to retirement. Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Charles (Pearl) Kostka of Brookfield, Mrs. Norman (Lucille) Szymanski of Round Lake, Mrs. James (Bernice) Myk of Colorado, Mrs. Steve (Ann) Wood of Texas, Ms. Shirley Freund of Texas, Mrs. Robert (Nancy) Delva of Minnesota and Mrs. James (Lillian) Covey, Simpson, II.; two sons, Jacob E., Jr., of Brookfield and Paul T. of Minnesota; nineteen grandchildren; one step- grandchild; two brothers, Anton of Cicero and William Tucson, Az. His wife preceded him in death Feb. 7, 1956. Visitation was held at the George R. Justen and Son funeral home Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. Chapel services were conducted by the Rev. Donald Bundy of the United Community Methodist church, Congress Park, II., Friday afternoon. Interment was in Woodland cemetery, McHenry. CURT GESICKI Ten-year-old Curt Gesicki of 417 Mineral Springs, McHenry, died at McHenry hospital July 7 after a short illness. Arrangements are incomplete at the Peter M. Justen and Son funeral home. ALEX M. HOCIN \ Alex M. Hocin of 5213 W Maple Hill, McCullom Lake, died Tuesday, July 6 at Rock- ford Memorial hospital at the age of 24. The deceased was born in Woodstock, Feb. 6, 1952, the son of Anton "Tony" and Sabina "Sally" (Piekut) Hocin. Mr. Hocin was a resident of the McHenry area all of his life. He had been employed in the shipping department at the Crane Packing company, Crystal Lake. Survivors include his mother of McCullom Lake; a daughter, Laureen Hocin, 5, of Chicago; four sisters, Mrs. David (Judy) Young; Mrs. Robert (Jean) Gildemeister and Mrs Bill (Jeanette) LaMarche, all of McHenry, and Mrs. Jack (Sally Ann) Mazzuca of Antioch; four brothers, Tony, Jr., of Tonawanda, N.Y., Ted of West Palm Beach, Fl., and James and Tim of McCullom Lake. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Allen. Friends are welcome to call at the Peter M. Justen and Son funeral home Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted in the chapel Friday at noon, with interment in St. Mary's cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to a special fund for Alex Hocin. William S. Zahn, 5213 Or­ chard, McHenry, driving while license revoked. Lloyd H.
