Entry fees are minimal with prize money totaling $564. All entrants must have exhibitors passes. Again this year, the utmost precautions are being taken to provide security for all items entered in this division. The enclosed tooth will be located in the samqhspot as last year--in Building D with chicken wire byj|t-in to the exhibit to guard against breakage and handling. Designated persons will be at their posts throughout the fair guarding against theft. Classes will be judged Saturday, Aug. 7, at 9 a.m. by Leo Parenti, well-known and distinguished antique collector from Union. A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. John Kuziel, Wonder Lake, July 14. Tiara O f Pearls Crowns Head Of Miss Mitchell Cynthia L. Mitchell, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mitchell of McHenry, wore a tiara of pearls belonging to her mother with her traditional wedding gown when she became the bride of William S. Hegner in Faith Presbyterian church of McHenry. Pastor John O. Mclntyre presided at the rites uniting in marriage the former Miss Mitchell and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hegner of McHenry, Saturday, July 17 at 1 p.m. The altar was decorated with white fugi mums, baby's breath and greenery. Musical selec tions included the "Wedding March", "Color My World" and theme from "Fiddler On The Roof". The bride chose a white floor length gown of nylon batiste with an empire waistline and flower lace organza trim on the sleeves and yoke. The dress fell into a chapel length train in the back. A cathedral length veil was attached to her mother's headband of pearls. The bride's mother wore a lime green dress, while Mrs. Hegner was attired in a rose floor length halter dress with a flowered chiffon cape. Both wore corsages of white car nations edged with pink. The home of the bride's parents was the scene of a reception for 150 guests following the ceremony. Upon their return from a week's vacation in Balsam Lake, Wi., the couple will' make their home at 5706 Broadway, Rich mond. The bride is a 1976 graduate of McHenry high school and her groom graduated from the., same school in 1975 and is employed at Modine of Ringwood. A rehearsal dinner for twenty-five guests was hosted by the groom's parents Friday, July 16, at their residence. Chocolate Banana Cookies 6 1/2 dozen 3 cups enriched flour* 1 teaspoon vanilla or 4V4 teaspoons baking orange extract powder 1 egg 1V4 teaspoons salt 1 cup mashed banana 1 teaspoon baking soda (about 3) 1 cup butter 2 squares (1 oz. ea.) semi- % cup sugar sweet or unsweetened V4 cup packed light brown chocolate, melted sugar 1 cup chopped nuts Confectioners' sugar Stir together dry ingredients. Cream together butter and sugars. Beat in vanilla and egg. Blend in banana, cooled choc olate and nyts. Stir in flour mixture. Drop by level tablespoon- fuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake in preheated 350° oven 12 to 14 minutes. Cool on wire racks. Sprinkle with confec tioners' sugar. •Spoon flour into dry measuring cup; level. Do not scoop.
