Tomasello, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Tomasello, 1307 W. Old Bay road, McHenry, and Darrell J. Seliga. The bridegroom is the son of Irene Baran, Sunnyside, and Chester Seliga, Chicago. The Rev. Leo Bartel of­ ficiated at the altar decorated with white gladioli and mums, Saturday, July 24, at 3 o'clock. The special musical selection, "Ave Maria", was sung by Mickie Sopko. The lovely bride wore an ivory gown of chiffon knit with embroidered lace at the high collar and repeated at the sleeves and bodice. The lace trimmed full skirt flowed into a chapel length train. A comb held the long mantilla veil edged with wide lace. White roses were carried by the bride. Witnesses at the ceremony were Doris Anne Tomasello, sister of the bride, McHenry, and Tom Rinda of Genoa City. Bridesmaids were Audrey Twomey, sister of the groom, Rochelle; Susan Muecke, Fond Du Lac, Wi., and Lynn Mc- Whinnie, McHenry. Groomsmen included Bill Twomey, brother-in-law of the groom, Rochelle, Pete Schilling, McHenry and Vin­ cent Tomasello, brother of the bride, McHenry. The bride's mother wore a poudre blue, chiffon knit, floor length dress with matching cape while Mrs. Baran chose an apricot polyester cape-sleeve dress. The Johnsburg Community club was the setting for a reception with 200 guests at­ tending. After their return from Wisconsin, the couple intend to make their home in Fox Lake. The bride is a 1976 graduate of McHenry West campus and is employed at Osco drug, McHenry, as a clerk. DeWANE STUDIO PHOTO Seniors Club Honors Couple On Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. William Lamont were honored on their golden wedding anniversary at the Wonder Lake Senior Citizen's club meeting Monday, July 19, at Nativity Lutheran church. The surprise party began with a mock wedding, Frank Wiedemann officiating. A beautifully decorated table with a gold tablecloth held gold candelabra with gold candles, a wedding cake trimmed with yellow rosebuds and a golden money-tree made by some of the club women. After the couple cut the cake, the group sang songs popular fifty years ago. Soloist, Mrs. Louise Hansen, sang "I Love You Truly" which brought memories to all present. The grand finale of the evening took place when all stood, held hands and sang "Auld Lang Syne." Rawnond Kearney officiating, following the ceremony, buffet dinner was served to sixty-five guests from the surrounding area, Min­ nesota and Wisconsin. A highlight of the day oc­ curred when Mrs. O'Brien, at the urging of friends, tried on her wedding dress, which was among the mementos displayed. Mrs. Ohman will leave early in August to make her home in Indiana. When she returned home Saturday noon, she found neighbors and friends had gathered to honor her. The party was arranged by Mrs. Ohman's sister, Sylvia Nelson, who lives with her. After a tasty lunch, gifts for her new kitchen were presented to the guest of honor. Attending the gathering were Grace Quanstrom, Pam Barrows, Susan Rutherford, Jean Gudauskas, Cheryl Toalson, Nancy Williams, Gerri Moerschbaecher, Marian Barrows, Ann Simonson, Mary Simonson, Florence Olsen and Betsy Airds.
