The photo book was presented to the outgoing LePetit Chapeau Betty Paulin. The next meeting which will be held in Huntley will feature a silent auction. Esther Ballard of Woodstock is chairman of the event which will be one of the organization's money making activities of the year. Proceeds of the event will be used to assist in the prevention and control of tuberculosis, cyctic fibrosis, lung and other respiratory diseases in children. Home Office Bloomington, Illinois High School, College Friends Wed Saturday A young couple who were in high - school and college together were married Saturday, Aug. 7, in St. Patrick's Catholic church, McHenry. Gabriell O. Braem and Steven C. Murgatroyd exchanged nuptial vows before the Rev. Raymond Kearney at 3 o'clock services in a church decorated with altar bouquets of daisies and baby's breath color coordinated with the bridesmaids' gowns. \ Special musical selections, including "Sunrise, Sunset" and "We've Only Just Begun", were presented by soloist Mark Bartos accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Jeanne Ludwig. The bpde is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E E. Braem of 5218 W. Hunter drive, McHenry, and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. C. Murgatroyd of 303 W. Nip- persink drive, McHenry. The bride chose a gown of silk faced organza over taffeta and cluney lace enhanced with silk Venice lace motifs. It was styped with a modified empire bodice, long bishop sleeves and a full A-line skirt which draped to a full chapel length train. Ruffled cluney lace encircled the illusion yoke and edged the cuffs and hemline. Scattered motifs of Venice lace appliqued with pearls accented the sleeves, bodice and skirt. Her fingertip veil bordered in cluney lace was attached to a camelot cap of matching lace. Chris Braem of McHenry attended her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Liz Mogilicki of Berwyn, a cousin of the bride, and Joyce Rivera of Fox Lake and Mary Murgatroyd of McHenry, sisters of the groom. Junior bridesmaids were Tracey and Mandy Zollner of West Chicago, cousins of the bride. The attendants wore organza halter gowns styled with A-line skirts and shoulder length caplets. Self ruffles accented the necklines of the gowns and edged the caplets. The maid of honor wore a green organza gown with a blue and white flocked design. The bridesmaids wore similar gowns of yellow organza. Stephen Dolloff of Mcenry served his friend as best man. Groomsmen were James and William Murgatroyd of McHenry, brothers of the groom, and Len Abruzzo of McHenry, a friend of the groom. Ushering duties were handled by David Murgatroyd of McHenry, the groom's brother, and Joey Zollner of West Chicago, the bride's cousin. The bride's mother chose a floor length gown designed with green and white chiffon panels. The groom's mother wore a light green gown. Immediately following the ceremoney, a reception for 160 guests was held, at the American Legion hall, McHenry. The young couple left for a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin and Canada. When they return, they plan to make their home in McHenry. Both the bride and groom graduated from MCHS in 1972 and from McHenry County college in 1974. The bride is a computer programmer at McHenry hospital. There's plenty o' folks, who Deaths EDWARD K. MUCHOW Private graveside rites were held at 1 o'clock Tuesday in Greenwood cemetery for Edward K. Muchow, 80, of 7218 Chippewa drive, Wonder Lake. Mr. Muchow died Saturday, Aug. 7, in Memorial hospital, Burlington, Wi. He was born in Chicago April 29,1896, and spent his early life there. Grandma Radtke Among survivors is his wife, Helen Pauline (Schultz) to whom he was married Oct. 6, 1923, in Chicago. He also leaves one daughter, Mrs. Matt (Dorothy) Hazlett of Rt. 2, Salem, Wi.; five grandchildren and two brothers; Ernest Muchow of Columbia, Mo., and Clarence Muchow of Las Vegas, Nv. FRANK PECHART Frank Pechart, 74, died Sunday, Aug. 8, at his home, 2120 S. Crystal Lake road. He had been a local resident for twenty-eight years. Mr. Pechart was bom in Austria-Hungary, March 18, 1902, son of Michael and Catherine Pechart. He came to this country in 1923 and worked at his trade as a barber in Chicago for many years. From 1956 until 1969 he was employed in the McAndrews barber shop in McHenry. On Dec. 7, 1926, he married Catherine Mettler in Chicago. She survives, as do two children, one daughter, Mrs. Vernon (Catherine) Kowitz of Chicago and one son, Frank J. Pechart, Jr., of Crystal Lake; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren and two sisters residing in Europe. The body rested at the Peter M. Justen & Son chapel Monday evening and Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be offered at 10 o'clock Wed nesday in St. Mary's Catholic church, McHenry, with burial in Windridge cemetery, Cary.
