Meeting Features Salad Luncheon, Skit Those of you who didn't come to the U.M.W. meeting last week Thursday missed a delicious salad luncheon and Christmas cookies served by Shirley Cristy, Arlene Pearson, Marge Evans and Mildred Kelly The program "Drums done Dead" given by Mertie Harrison, was well worth the lime taken to relax and enjoy it and get into the Christmas spirit. Plans are being rrtade for a program planning meeting after the first of January. So from the sound of things, we have hopes for a real in­ teresting year coming up. Do join us. SYMPATHY The community extends their sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Richard Zell in the death of her sister, Shirley Greene. CHURCH SCHOOLPROGRAM The public is invjted to the church school Christmas program which will be presented Sunday evening, Dec. 19, at the Ringwood United Methodist church The program will begin at 7:30. Hope to see you there. BOTH BIRTHDAY We extend our sincere best wishes to Byron Sowers in this eightieth year of his birth Dec. 9. During the day their daughter, Mary Spencer, drove Mr. and Mrs. Sowers to Hebron to visit another daughter, Betty Garrison, and he'r family. In the evening, other members of the family dropped by home to wish Dad a Happy Birthday. The safety organization reported 17,230 fatalities com­ pared with 16,790. Nearly 640,000 disabling injuries resulted from traffic accidents in the first five months of 1976, the Council said.
