Hiawatha Society Slates January 4 For Next Meeting Anyone interested in the hobby of rocks and minerals is invited to attend the next meeting of the Hiawatha Gem and Mineral society. The meeting will be held at 7:30p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 4, at St. Patrick's church hall, McHenry. The instruction portion of the meeting will cover chemical and crystal identification of minerals. Directory salesmen for yellow page advertising will be contacting businesses in the Wonder Lake, Richmond, Hebron, and Spring Grove exchanges during the week of Jan. 3. C.C. Merritt, division manager for General Telephone, cautions all telephone customers in the Wonder Lake, Richmond, Hebron, and Spring Grove exchanges to check their current listings to assure that spelling, addresses and names are listed as the customers want them listed. New listings and changes can be made until the deadline date of Jan. 20.
