This particular malady seems to manifest itself between the , years of 13-18, occurring most frequently in the female of the species. It is an illness thijjt dates back to pre historic times with the discovery of sketches drawn on the walls of caves, undoubtedly the work of early man. The symptoms can be noted as early as the twelfth year reaching its peak and most dangerous period at the age of ,14. Signs that you should be aware of include an ability to talk endlessly, uproarious laughter or subtle giggles especially during quiet lags in normal conversation, hunger at late hours (this symptom can be easily brought under control by one or two cheese and sausage pizzas, followed in rapid succession by pop, potato chips, pretzels, peanuts, popcorn or in dire emergency, sandwiches) whispers at unusual hours of the late night or very early morning or the unmistakable utterances of male names with whom you are not familiar. The most annoying of these symptoms is the unique ability of those affected with an acute case, to stay awake for long periods of time, sleep very little and arise at an ungodly hour seemingly well and eager to begin a new day. The only cure that modern medicine has found to combat this scourge of mankind everywhere is your patience and the passing of time. Fortunately the female child outgrows this strange ailment This is a true and documented case history of one afflicted female patient- age 14. Cathy Hoglund who on her birthday did indeed experience all the above symptoms therein described along with friends Noreen, DeW$l^- Sue Mahon, Chris Szaljfl^syr and Kelly Wegener, prfllftngf to those in doubt that it is contagious.
