After calling on various in­ dividuals, Harry turned the mike over to the able and ex­ perienced Vince Lloyd. Classes will be held at McHenry High School West Campus on Crystal Lake road every Tuesday evening beginning February 1st and continuing for 12 weeks. Class time is 7 to 9 p.m. Each person successfully completing the course will be awarded a certificate from the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, who is conducting the course. The course is intended primarily for boaters who operate their boats on the Fox River and Chain of Lakes, although material will also be presented that is pertinent to Lake Michigan and Mississippi River boaters. The Warriors scored 127 pts. to Larkin's 84, and Waubonsie Valley had 36. Scott and Jim Hall each won two events for the Warriors. Thursday evening at 4:30 they will host Lake Forest at the West Campus pool. Jeff Clayton's J.V. team defeated Larkin 76 to 68 in a real thriller. Dave Relle tied the school record in the 100 yd. freestyle when he swam the distance in a neat 58.06. He also won the 200 freestyle, and Carl Lense also took two firsts in the 200 I.M and the 100 yd. backstroke.
