All proceeds will benefit the St. John's Restoration fund which was established in 1974 to raise $500,000 for the repair and restoration of the beautiful 75-year-old church. Along with action packed fun and games, there will be entertainment and many surprises. Tickets will be available at the door on the evenings of the event. Jan 29. at McHenry hospital at the age of 45. Mr. LaGray was born Sept 1, 1931. in North Lawrence, N.Y., the son of Arthur and Helen (LaRose) La«Gray. He had made his home in McHenry since 1960. s. Survivors include his widow, Elberta (Gray); three children at home, Joe, 15. Tony, 12 and Teresa, 8; eight sisters; two brothers and his parents of Watertown, N Y. Visitation was held Monday evening at the George R. Justen & Son funeral home, with chapel services Tuesday morning. Burial was in Woodland cemetery. CLAIR K1NSEY McHenry relatives have returned from funeral services held at Mitchell, S.D. for Clair Kinsey, 63, who died Jan. 20 in Lyons, 111. Chapel services were held at Will funeral home with burial in Servicemen's Memorial cemetery Monday, Jan. 24. Mr. Kinsey was born Dec. 2, 1913, at Fairbault, Minn , to Mr. and Mrs. Roy Kinsey. He at­ tended McHenry schools in his youth and on April 12, 1965, married Lucille Henzlik in Mitchell. He was a member of the VFW in Mitchell. NESDAY. FEBRUARY 2. 1977 Survivors include his widow; three stepsons, Dennis Richards of Mitchell.*'T6m Richards of Brookings and Randy Richards of Springfield, 111.; a stepdaughter, Linda Richards of Mitchell; a daughter, Sherry Burden of Fox Grove, 111.; a sister, Dorothy Benesof Peoria, Ariz.; his stepparents, Mr and Mrs. Fred Bienapfl of McHenry and three grandchildren He was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother. EDWIN Kl I I MANN Services were held Saturday. Jan. 29, in the Schielka funeral home. Chicago, for Edwin Kullmann, Whispering Oaks. McHenry, who was pronounced dead on arrival Jan. 26 at McHenry hospital. Mr Kullmann was born July 17, 1904, in Chicago He had been an operating engineer. Surviving are his widow. Alice (Salmi; a son, Harry; a granddaughter and a sister. Esther Schmarje. Earl White, both of Wonder Lake. RETURNSHOME Mrs. Henry Jackson has returned home from Nor­ thwestern Memorial hospital, Chicago, where she had been a patient for several weeks. FILM RESCHEDULED Because of the bitter cold weather, the film sponsored by H.O.M.E. which was scheduled to be shown Friday, Jan. 28 was canceled. The Home Oriented Maternity Experience has set Friday. Feb. 4. as the new date for the viewing at Central school. 131 Paddockr Crystal Lake. GINA PRESTON The state finals of Little Miss Illinois Talent contest in the performing arts will be held on the dates of July 1 and 2 at Peoria Hilton hotel, Peoria. This program in the per­ forming arts has the following categories for the participants: dance, vocal, acrobatics, baton, instrumental, and variety. The age category is 5 through 12. Officially certified from this area is Gina Marie Preston, 8, of 3718 Fillmore, .McHenry, who attends Bush elementary school. Mr. and Mrs. James Preston are her parents. A son was born to Mr and Mrs. Gerald Freund of Ringwood Jan. 30. FIRST GRANDCHILD Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Blake of McHenry are the delighted grandparents of a baby girl born Thursday, Jan. 27, to their son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. John Woodbury of Chicago. The fair-haired baby, Marissa Michelle, weighed 7 lbs., 8 oz., and is the first child of the Woodburys. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Howard Clark of El Paso, Tex Great grandmother is Mrs. Lena Blake of McHenry.
