FEBRUARY 11, 1977 Program Of Interfaith It was heartwarming reminiscence on the stage of the Woodstock Opera House last Saturday night when Ruth Schectman and Actor Tom Bosley talk about the old days when they performed on the same stage. There was music and comedy, and tender moments of reminiscence when the famous and the near famous gathered for the grand opening of the Opera House Community center in Woodstock Saturday night. Taxpayers can obtain in­ formation and assistance for preparing state tax returns- free of charge-from any Illinois Department of Revenue service office. Assistance is available from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Assistance, information, and forms are also available by calling the revenue department toll free at 1-800-252-8972 Telephone assistance is available from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. The near capacity crowd was greeted by Mayor H. Joseph Gitlin, who acknowledged those persons who devoted so greatly in many ways to make restoration of the Opera House possible. For Bosley, it was a return to the Opera House in which he made his last appearance twenty-nine years ago. Currently he plays the role of "Mr. C" in the popular television series, "Happy Days". The reopening night program concluded with operatic ex­ cerpts from Mozart's "Ab­ duction from the Seraglio" by members of the Chicago Opera Studio, Inc. featuring Arlene Barkley-Bright, Martin J. Bassert III, William J. Eichorn, Eugene Johnson and Sheryl Woods. Bob Logan, a student at Northwestern university, was director and coordinator of the program Later, a reception was held in the courtroom of the Old Courthouse Inn. Grove, McHenry, was commissioned in his present rank upon graduation from the University of Missouri, Columbia. The commission was received through completion of the school's Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) program. During each undergraduate semester, NROTC midshipmen complete naval science courses in addition to the full academic schedule that lead to their degree. These courses, com­ bined with annual summer training aboard ships and shore installations, served to prepare midshipmen for the duties and responsibilities of a com- missioned officer. McHenry On the Feast of St. Peter and Paul and the closing day of the church's Week of Christian Unity, there was a program of interfaith sharing held at Marian Central Catholic high school. The morning began with six ministers from local churches giving a general presentation of their church's viewpoints on theological issues and styles of liturgical worship. The second portion of the program was small group presentations and discussions by visiting students from the participating churches and the Marian students. The third portion of the program was an open question and answer period with students directing their questions at the ministers, the day was well received by the students. The participating ministers were, from left to right, Father Michael Tierney, acting host, Mr. Hansen, Church of the Latter Day Saints, Crystal Lake, the Rev. Ronnie Green, Calvary Baptist church, Woodstock, the Rev. Fred Tozer, First United Methodist church. Harvard; the Rev. Alfred W. Murscher, Presbyterian church, Woodstock; the Rev.
