Village of McHenry Shores Jude La Francis 385-5067 LAW VIOLATION A former Paris, 111., man was arrested recently on three charges bv the Illinois Department of Revenue for violations of state tax laws, including theft of state motor fuel tax funds The department charged that James A Rmesmith. 49, currently of Phoenix, Ariz., failed to file individual state income tax returns for tax years 1969 through 1975. He was also charged with operating as a supplier of special fuel in Paris without a license in 1974 and 1975. He allegedly collected $18,773.55 in motor fuel taxes from his customers but did not remit the taxes to the state. Village Board Prepares For Fun In The Sun At the next regular meeting of the village board, which will be Feb. 16, the ordinance committee will present its recommendations to the board concerning swimming pools. The ordinance committee in conjunction with the building and zoning officer has spent much time and research on this pool ordinance. Their research now completed, the committee intends to present the pool ordinance for its first reading All of those interested in this ordinance should try to attend Wednesday's meeting.
