McHenry. was represented at a meeting in Ingleside to plan a local evangelism emphasis by Evangelism committee co- chairpersons. Mariam Kenna and Wally Johnson, church president. Dennis Page, and Pastor Roger Schneider The main speaker was Pastor Tom Householder, the church's national evangelism director, who outlined a four-part thrust for the church. He indicated the evangelical outreach emphasis will ask for a renewed bold witness to the gospel through study and action and will invite all people into the Christian church regardless of their background or heritage He explained further that the emphasis will include at­ tempting to restore the inactive families into the fellowship of the church and integrating new "From Season to Season", nature film produced by John and Kitty Kohout. both professional photographers, will be shown at the Central school auditorium. Crvstal Lake. Feb 19. at 8:00 p.m. Opening with winter scenes and symphonic background, all the seasons are portrayed, but presented far more vividly than the human eye can see. In­ cluded are closepups of moths, flowers and a variety of nature subjects, with commentary by the Kohout team . Some western vistas are shown, but this award winning picture con­ centrates on the midwestern states. Orchestral selections enhance the color slides The McHenry County Audubon society invites everyone to join them, and especially photography "en­ thusiasts and nature fans will find this a good evening. STAFF PHOTO-WAYNE GAYLORD Winners in several classes were announced recently as the Boy Scout Pack 351, Pinewood derby was held at St Patrick's church. The derby consists of scouts designing and building their own model cars to actually run on a pre set course. The fastest car was built by John Wember of Den four, with Kirk Johnson of Den one and Pat Devine of Den tnree placing second and third respectively. Other den winners included Mark Biggess in Den two. JUDY HAMILTON Judy Hamilton is a fourth grade teacher at Valley View school She enjoys ceramics, bowling and is a horticultural enthusiast.
