During the festivities of opening night at the restaurant, someone succeeded in removing the game from the premises without being seen. Also over the weekend, Eleanor Markham, 2016 Kerry lane, McHenry, reported that during the previous day, someone succeeded in gaining entry to her locked auto, stealing her CB radio and antenna. Police also investigated a theft at the home of Terry Malone, 8312 Nunda road., Wonder Lake. Wife Of Famed Evangelist To Speak In City RUTH BRANNON Ruth Brannon, wife of famed evangelist-attorney, Clifton Brannon, of Long view, Tex., will take Friday night, April 29, from the scheduled revival at First Baptist church, McHenry., to tell her story of how God made it possible for her literally to have a new heart. She tells of the testing and trials of the transition from a successful lawyer's home to a preacher's home. The problems with their teen-age children should be heard by every teen-ager and parent. She tells the truth of their frustration and fears. Mrs. Brannon confesses what happened in the conflict that arose as she threatened her husband with divorce if he forsook his position which he has gained as a lawyer as in dicated in the twenty-eight line Shown in the picture above are three lovely ladies from the "Blarney Bar". Left to right they are Debbie Johnson, Pat Crocco and Debbie Grennan of Wonder Lake. Tickets can be purchased at the door to those 19 years of age or older. After a successful debut last weekend, Hurricane Hap pening '77 will finish up this Friday and Saturday. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. at Marian Central high school, and shows will begin at 8 p.m. The show will feature the Andrew sisters of McHenry, a funny melodrama, "In Cases Like This," sponsored by the Marian Father's club, and the Silent theatre directed by David Cornelia. There will be the "Blarney Bar" where a person can join biographical sketch shown in Who's Who in America. She had been reared in a preacher's home and she had promised herself that she would never marry a preacher. She married a lawyer; when he turned from law to love she threatened to leave. This human interest story has resulted in over 500 decisions for full-time Christian service, which has been at tended by more than a million people. The general public is encouraged to attend, and be inspired by Mrs. Brannon's story and the special Christian music to be provided by the church choir. with Dan Taylor in singing authentic Irish folk songs. In the Botique, one can make a purchase of home-made goodies, or even a small piece of furnature or appliances that are needed for the home. Stop in and do a little dancing in the Casbah Bizair discotheque, or just sit and watch the exotic dancers there. Persons attending can stop in the cafeteria for hot beef sandwiches, hot dogs and sauerkraut or bratwurst and sauerkraut. Pizza will be served in the Hurricane Hideaway. Relax a short time in these rooms and then go on to the Gaslight Speakeasy where entertainers called "The Gaslight Girls" will perform. Last, but not least, one will certainly want to spend some time in Club 21 where a person can really relax, do a little dancing and singing to the piano playing of Frank and Jim Harrison. It's a fun-filled evening. It's always a pleasure to find a really good cook taking pride in his or her profession. Cyclist Injured In Sunday Highway Crash A Wonder Lake man was injured Sunday when he lost control of his motorcycle on Rt. 120, and drove into a field. Edwin C. Lintneyr', 7603 Hickory, Wonder Lake, was taken by the McHenry Area Rescue squad to McHenry hospital for treatment of in juries sustained at ap proximately 5:20 p.m. in a field near Rt. 120 and Martin road. Lintner stated to police that he was riding his motorcycle westbound on Rt. 120 at an unknown rate of speed. He added that as he ap proached the Sherman Hill Industrial area, a vehicle in front of him started to slow down. Lintner explained that he drove his motorcycle to the right, avoiding the car, and in doing so drove down a concrete water runoff. He further stated that he continued west into some dirt, at which time his motorcycle fell over. After being taken to the hospital, Lintner signed himself out and went to Woodstock. He added that he noticed the Armendariz car wasn't moving. He applied his brakes in an attempt to avoid the crash, but kept sliding and contact was made.
