The story is concerned with the religious mass hysteria which swept that New England colony at the end of the seventeenth century. At that time hundreds of people, chiefly women, were put to death for the supposed crime of witchcraft. The play centers on John Proctor, played by Bruce Berger from McHenry, his wife Elizabeth (Tricia Schaefer), and her accuser, Abigail Williams (Laura Krah). Curtain time is 8:30 for all performances at the PM&L theater, 877 Main*' street in Antioch. To make reservations, call 395-3055. SENIOR CITIZEN'S CORNER HELPFUUDEAS FOR SUCCESSFUL RETIREMENT Vesting --If your company has a pen sion plan, the amount of money you receive from it may depend to a large extent on the plan's vesting provisions. --Once you're vested, it means you have a right to some or all of the benefits you have ac cumulated with an employer even though you leave the job or get laid off before retirement. , --Most pension plans--by law--must satisfy minimum vesting requirements. There are three possible schedules: --No vesting at all for 10 years of service, then 100 per cent vesting --25 per cent vesting after five years of service, increasing by five per cent annually to 50 per cent after 10 years; and. in creasing by 10 per cent each year of service for the next five years--to 100 per cent after 15 years. --50 per cent vesting when the sum of the years of the worker s age plus years of service equals 45--and increasing 10 per cent for each of the next five years of ser vice. --Certain pension plans are ex cluded from federally required vesting provisions. Consult your personnel or union representative for more details. Editor's Quote Book The great source of pleasure is variety. Samuel Johnson GET PROFESSIONAL cirpet cleaning results!
