The Rev. Arthur D. McKay officiated durjng the 4 o'clock ceremony at [4he altar decorated with bodquets of blue and white captations. A friend of the bride, Carol Walsh, was^at the organ. The bride is the daughter of Mr; and Mrs. George Boehlke, 807-; Tree Top road, and the grpom'S parents are Mr. and MnJ. Harry Wyman, Jr., Rock Island road, all of Ingleside. Tfie bride was gowned in flop*-length white silk organza enhanced with Venice lace over bridal mist taffeta. The bodice wa£ fashioned with a Queen And neckline and long full Jui$t sleeves. The skirt was A linfe with fullness in the back styled into a chapel length traQi. Blue polyester gowns, styled with empire waistlines, Queen Ann necklines and trimmed with Venice lace, were worn. Each carried a bouquet of blue and white carnations with white streamers. The groom was assisted by Edward "Doc" Kvass of Long Lake. Groomsmen were Bryan Wyman, the groom's brother from Dewey, Ariz.; James Burnett of Spring Grove; Dan Figura of Round Lake and Bill Powers of Mundelein. The bride's mother wore an aqua blue sleeveless dress with a chiffon cape while the groom's mother chose a long- sleeved blue silk gown with a chiffon overskirt. The American Legion hall in Fox Lake was the scene of a reception for approximately 265 guests after the wedding ceremony. Following a return from Orlando and Clearwater, Fla. the newlyweds will make their home in Long Lake. The bride is a 1973 graduate of Grant Community high school. Fox Lake, and is em ployed as a C.A.R.E. coor dinator for Kemper Insurance, Long Grove. The groom graduated from a Chicago high school and works at Skokie Valley Bindery of Libertyville in machine maintenance. £ MR. AND MRS. Scholz Family Anticipate Family Reunion Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Scholz of 5214 Shore drive, Lakeland Park, are anticipating a visit from their daughter, Rita, her husband, Lt. Martin G. Schoonderwoerd of the U.S. Navy, and their two children, Craig, 6, and Todd, 4, Saturday, July 16. They have lived in Japan for the past 4 years. For the last 2 years, Lt. Schoonderwoerd served aboard the aircraft carrier Midway. Prior to that, he had charge of the military police at Sasebo. „ He also served in the Pacific aboard the U.S.S. Cacapon and for 2 years aboard a river patrol gun boat, the Canon, during the Viet Nam conflict, where he was wounded in an ambush. The visitors hope to stay in McHenry for the Scholz family picnic July 23 before returning to San Diego where the Lieutenant will be stationed at the Navy base. They will make their home there. Nancy Moore Guest Speaker In Wonder Lake Due to the July 4 holiday, there was no meeting of the Wonder Lake Senior Citizen club. The guest speaker for the next meeting to be held July 18 will be Nancy Moore from the University of Illinois Extension bureau. Final plans are being made for the picnic July 25. There are still seats available for the Cubs-Cincinnati game July 26. For reservations call Mrs. Otto (Helen) Eckert or Bill Lamont. Blood pressure readings will be taken at the July 18 meeting and any Wonder Lake senior citizens are welcome to attend. Eight et Forty Play Officer Installation Virginia Mann of the Eight et Forty announced that the of ficer installation will be held Aug. 14 at the Marengo Legion hall. The cocktail hour is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. with 'inner served at 5:30. Reser vations must be made with Mrs. Mann. Those attending are requested to wear short white dresses. LOUIS PEDECONE GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY - Mr. and Mrs. Louis Pedecone of McHenry celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary Sunday, June 19. They were married June 19,1927, at St. Mete church on the west side of Chicago. They renewed their vows at 12:15 Mass at 8t. Patrick's church in McHenry before the Rev. Eugene Lata. Their son, Jan, was a lector at the Mass and the gilts Were presented by their grandson, Michael, and daughter-in-law, Lorraine. In the evening, a dinner and reception were given by the couples' children, at Mr. Dukes restaurant in Woodale, I1L Those attending included mostly relatives and a few guests among whom was the Rev. Edmund Petit of St. Patrick's church, McHenry. Three members of the original bridal party attended, including Mrs. Marge Cozzi of McCullom Lake, who was the matron of honor. Mr. and Mrs. Pedecone have three children, Ronald, Jan and Linda and seven grandchildren. They moved to McHenry from Chicago in 1956. Mr. Pedecone has been a tailor all his life and has been doing tailoring in McHenry for the past 21 years.
