J LAST DAY - LAST THOUGHTS I lay here in the fresh green grass, underneath a shady tree. Thinking of my summer, gone and the last day I'll be free. All the dreams and plans I had, for the burning season Slipped away from me somehow for no apparent reason. I haven't lived my summer yet, the time has gone so fast. Now autumn arrives to. take its place ^ and it'will become my past. No more breathtaking, fiery sunsets, no more blooming flowers, No more fluttering butterflies, * no more sunny showers. Summer will end and school will start, fall will be coming soon, Everything will die and blow away, life will die away too. And the home mechanic must be careful to add just the right amount of the gas since too much can overload the car air con ditioning system and event ually damage the compressor. When freon is added, it is probably time to replace the dryer-fllter unit, too. A fully saturated unit, which hap pens over the years, cannot pick up any more moisture and allows small--but harm ful--amounts of ice to form when the cooling system is in operation. *** Doing A/C Work Takes Caution • Do-it-yourself freon kits are now being marketed to motorists who like to handle their car's other maintenance themselves and feel ready to tackle the air conditioning unit. Using the kits takes somewhat more caution than most home repairs. Since a worker can "burn" himself with the freon-- actually suffer frostbite--the work should be done only while wearing special safety tliiliii!
