The bazaar will open at 10 a.m., and continue until 4:30 p.m., and will be featuring a bakery booth with delicious homemade goodies; a deli counter with homemade jellies, preserves and many other moth-watering items; a living things section with a great variety of plants; granny's attic; parcel post booth; Christmas cove; and several sections of handmade items of Local Chapter Finalizes Plans For Bake Sale Plans for an October bake sale were finalized when the Beta Sigma Phi of Pi Alpha chapter held its first meeting of the month. Mrs. Aleta Gemmel hosted the gathering at her home. President Fawn Vail opened the meeting and reports from officers and committee chairmen were given. The main topic of discussion, the bake sale, brought about a scheduled date of Oct. 15 for the event. A variety of goods will be displayed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the supermarket at the McHenry Market Place. A new tradition was voted on and passed. Members will send yearly Christmas greetings to former sorority sisters who have moved away. A couples Silly Supper is- planned for Saturday, Nov. 12 with prospective members and husbands.
