The situation in the High School District is citical and here's why! With the loss of approximately 560 Johnsburg students, our school will fall short by over $1.15 million each year in which to operate the school. 30 to 35 teachers will be cut, saving approximately $400,000. In addition, the Board of Education has already cut $400,000 from the budget (programs, staff, and operation costs) for a total of $800,000 in cuts. That still leaves the High School $350,000 short each year. All studies indicate that further severe cuts must be made if the tax rate increase is not approved. THE CHOICE IS YOURS!
