Traffic is certain to be heavy following that big November football game, so remember to take it easy on the way home. Don't let-the results of the game affect safe driving habits. Even more important than the score of the game is the safety score recorded on the way home. There's An Answer (by Norman Vincent Peale and Ruth Stafford Peale) Husband can't handle responsibilities Q. I am 29 years old and my husband is 21. We have been married1 2 years but have not lived together for a year because my decided he could not handle the responsibilities of marriage. We got married only 16 months after mv divorce, and I don't think I was really ready for it. He seemed to love me so much, though, that I thought I'd be a fool to lose him. But I took him for granted in a lot of ways and was very selfish. He is immature in many ways, but I'm far from perfect. He likes to spend money and & tempted by other women. Yet I really love him very much. I don't know if there's any foundation for hoping he'll ever come bade. Do you feel that under the circumstances I should A. From your question, and that of course is all we"have to go on, we get the impression of not only one, but two immature persons. There are, of course, hurdles to overcome for the two of you to achieve a normal, happy marriage. But this is not, in any sense, impossible. If you will study your husband and your husband will study you, you will both find ways to undergird each other. This in turn will ' draw you together. >: We like your honesty, and if your husband is equally honest you ' can make a go of it. We have a booklet, The Secret of a Happy Marriage, which has helped others with questions such as yours, and a copy of it is on its - way to you. Anyone wishing a free copy may write to us at Box 500, Pawling, NY 12564. Can't please the boss 1 .« Q. In my work I have six or seven lobs to do. My bops wants me to make production, but how can I with so many jobs to do? I lose speed going from one to the other, and we can't refuse any fobs. What can I do? I try my best, but it seems the more you do the ' more they want? Any suggestions? A. The number one thing is to stop being resentful. That siphons off energy and tends to disorganize you. If the boss did not think you could do the jobs he he 1 wouldn't give them to you. Really, you should feel complimented. Practice timing. Organize your work. And do each job better than > anybody else can do it. You sound to us like somebody who could move up in the business world if you keep your spirit right Children are taunted Q. I'm a reporter for our weekly newspaper. A concerned mother recently came to me for help. Her oldest child, who was at one time sentenced for a criminal offense, is now living a free a"d decent f life. But she says her other children are often taunted about their lt brother's "record". They are made to feel that his past actions reflect upon them. Being of sound mind, I hope, I told her that I would try to consult an expert. Could you please send some advise which we could publish in our newspaper under "There's An Answer"? A. The other children should be encouraged to have pride in their brother because of the comeback he is making. The more pride >1 they take in his improved life, the less sensitive they will be to the taunts of cruel and thoughtless people. These children should be helped to know that their brother is living down his past and that ne is entitled to extra credit for having the character and courage and the guts to turn his bade on a wrong past and move up to a good future. Tell these kids to ' pride in him and stand by him against all comers. The taunters will 1 get the message ultimately and lay off.
