Stilling, died at the Crystal Pines Nursing home, Crystal Lake, Monday, Dec. 5. She had made her home at 1914 Orchard Beach drive. Mrs. Stilling was born in Chicago Sept. 17, 1892, the daughter of Ernest and Louisa (Schultz) Moelmann. Formerly of Chicago, she moved to McHenry in 1916. She was a member of the McHenry Women's club and St. Patrick's Women's Guild. Her husband, George A. Stilling, preceded her in death in 1959. Among survivors are a daughter, Louise Wahl of McHenry; a son, Robert of Carpentersville; eight grand­ children and twelve great grandchildren. The George R. The family would appreciate Masses and prayers in memory of the deceased. HAROLD A. VOGEL Harold A. (Hud) Vogel, 67, of 4614 Greenwood road, Greenwood, died suddenly Sunday, Dec. 4, at Memorial hospital, Woodstock. He was born April 25, 1910, in Richmond, the son of J. Henry and Sylvia (Rehorst) Vogel. He married Clara Van Every April 25, 1936 in Yorkville, 111. He retired in 1975 as technical advisor of the State of Illinois Transportation department. He was former owner of Choice realtiy of Wonder Lake; former precinct committeeman for Greenwood township; former fireman in Richmond; former member of Richmond village board and formerly employed by the Department of Revenue and Treasury department in Springfield, 111. At the time of his death, he was a member of the Richmond Masonic Lodge 143, AF & AM; a member of the Greenwood United Methodist church; and an official for Greenwood township. He is survived by his wife; a son, Van Vogel of Greenwood; a sister, Mrs. W.D. (Edith) Phillips of Richmond; two brothers, Henry of Buffalo Grove and William of Benton Harbor, Mich. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bar­ bara, in July of 1974; two sisters, Nellie Toppen and Evelyn Vogel and a brother, Howard. The Rev. James Segin of the Greenwood United Methodist church will officiate at chapel services Wednesday, at 1:30 p.m. at the Ehorn-Adams funeral home, Richmond, following Tuesday visitation from 2 to 9 p.m. Burial will take place at Greenwood cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Barbara A. Vogel Leukemia fund, Sherman hospital, Elgin. HELEN V. MODER Chapel services were held Saturday at Halm's Wonder Lake funeral home for Helen V. Moder, 60, who died at her home Thursday, Dec. 1. Mrs. Moder, a resident of Wonder Lake for the past 30 years, had lived at 7417 Mohawk drive. She was born in Chicago Jan. 5, 1917, the daughter of George and Bertha (Stauv) Hall. The deceased was employed at Oaks Industries and Artype corporation in Crystal Lake and was a member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Woodstock. She leaves her husband, Henry, whom she married July 7, 1935, in Chicago; three sons, Dennis, a member of the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Bragg, Fayette, N.C., Sheldon of Crystal Lake, and George of Hoffman Estates; three grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Charles (Jane) Boss of Wonder Lake. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer society in lieu of flowers. EDWARD A. HERON Wonder Lake resident Ed­ ward A. Heron, 65, of 4708 N. Hilltop drive, was pronounced dead on arrival at McHenry hospital Thursday, Dec. 1. The son of George and Margaret (Sweeney) Heron, he was born in Chicago Dec. 10, 1911. An area resident for the past 27 years, he had been employed as an electrician. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 134 of Chicago. He is survived by his wife, Catherine M. (Wiedlin) whom he married in Chicago Nov. 17, 1930; three daughters, Mrs. James (Mary Jane) Ahern of McHenry, Mrs. Allan (Marguerite) Busch and Mrs. Timothy (Kathleen) Mieling, both of Chicago; a son, Robert of Chicago; six grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Mae Wallace of St. Petersburg, Fla. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister. Friday visiting hours were held at the Peter M. Justen & Son funeral home with services conducted at Christ the King Catholic church, Wonder Lake, Saturday, at 10 a.m. Interment was in the church cemetery. MARY E. MACEY Mrs. Mary E. Macey of 5013 N. Ringwood road, McHenry, died Sunday, Dec. 4, at McHenry hospital at the age of 65. x Mrs. Macey was born in Oak Park, 111. March 27, 1912, the daughter of Charles and Harriet (Scully) Bushee. Formerly a Des Plaines resident, she had made her home in McHenry for the past 4 years. Her husband, Henry, whom she married in St. Louis, Mo. in January of 1940, survives along with a son, Charles (Jerry) Macey of McHenry; a grand­ son, Bryan Macey; a brother, Charles Bushee of Lansing, Mich.; and two sisters, Alice Hall of Pasadena, Calif, and Jeanne Vanderjack of Chicago.
