Make some beautiful memories. One Night A young bride of three months complained to her mother about her groom's drinking habits. "If you knew he drank, why did you marry him," she was asked. "1 didn't know he drank until one night he came home sober." ihe comedy, "The Last of the Red Hot Lovers" by Neil Simon wilT^be presented by the American Repertory TTieatre Systems (formerly of McHenry Country club) at Andre's Steak House, 11106 U.S. 12 North, Richmond. Featured in the cast are Thomas Hausman, Antioch; Ann Marie Cina and Yvonne Alton of McHenry; and Lillian Allen of Trevor, Wis. "The Last of the Red Hot Lovers" is the story of Barney Cashman. Barney, at the age of 47, wants to join the sexual revolution before it's too late. Barney is a gentle, sober soul with a true-blue wife of twenty- three years and a man with absolutely no experience in adultry. His first fling is with a flaunting worldly sexpot who likes to smoke cigars, drinks whiskey straight, and enjoys vthe companionship of everyone's husband except her own. Barney is just not properly prepared for such compulsions, especially in his mother's apartment, so he flunks the course. Barney gets a better idea: an actress friend should be the right answer. He brings her to his mother's apartment and once they are behind closed doors the actress becomes a nervous pot-smoking com pulsive talker. So that leaves his wife's oldest and best friend. Un fortunately this friend is a sternly driven moralist who sees sin~sin~sin around every corner. Obviously Barney is just not cut out to be "The Last of the Red Hot Lovers". The play is directed by Barbara D. Miller. The dinner- theatre opening will be Jan. 13 and will run weekends through Jan. 29. Show time Friday and Saturday is at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Reser vations are necessary. BRANCH III COURT, Associate Judge Leonard Brody Bruce W.
