I hope you all missed me last week. My husband and I and the family took a few days off to visit the northwoods in winter. We stayed with our daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Ralph Rosmski, in Conover, Wis. We enjoyed snowmob^ling and the beauty of the nor thwoods in winter. Still un touched by man and progress, the scenery is breathtaking. You can travel endless miles on snowmobile trails and admire God's handiwork as it was created. New Year's eve in the nor thwoods is really something. MAIN 392-4750 Rosinski of the Villa Maria in Land O'Lakes for a buffet supper and then all spent a fun- filled evening at O'Sheaski's Resort lodge in Conover, the Polish retreat of the nor thwoods. It was a New Year's eve that will be long remem bered. Music was provided by a local band you had to see to believe. Words fail me for description. Have you ever heard anyone play crowbars? How about a Glockenspeil? That's a washboard, piepans, horn, and a few other objects fastened to a pogo stick and I can't leave out the musical spoons. As I said it was an evening we won't forget.
