Education and Welfare as part of a national program to raise the immunization level of all children. Dr. Paul Q. Peterson, director of the Illinois Health department, said last week, "We are ex­ ploring ways to strengthen our laws to better enforce the school entrance requirements regarding immunization. This is a continuation and in­ tensification of long- established efforts by this department to provide protection for all Illinois children." Peterson noted many local groups interested in improving immunization status "of children often offer free consultation and immunization clinics.
