Conlon, of Birmingham, Mich., is general sales manager of the General Motors Corporation Truck and Coach division. His address will recognize a major question facing business today - how to restore and maintain mutual trust and respect between businesses and customers -- the attitude that gave this country the most free and successful economy in the world. Everyone is welcome and reservations can be made by contacting the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce, 459- 1300. ^ Mother Of Two McHenry Women Killed In Crash The mother of two McHenry women was killed in a two-car accident on Route 12 and Grand avenue in Fox Lake Friday evening. Mrs. Norma M. Maziarka, 63, 13 Highview, Fox Lake, was a passenger in a car being driven by her husband, Joseph G. Maziarka, which reportedly turned in front of a northbound car on Route 12. Mrs. Maziarka was the mother of Mrs. John Rourke and Mrs. Stanley Goschinski, both of McHenry. According to Fox Lake police, a car driven by Michael S. Seekings, Wilton, Conn., was northbound on Route 12 in the intersection with Grand avenue, when the Maziarka auto turned left into the path of the northbound car. Seekings told police he could not stop in time to avoid a collision. Seekings and two passengers in his car, Blair H. Alexander, Geneva, and James L. Isaacs, Northfield, were taken by the Fox Lake Rescue squad to McHenry hospital for treat ment of injuries they sustained in the accident. Mrs. Maziarka was also taken to McHenry hospital, ' where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Joseph Maziarka was also taken to McHenry hospital for treatment of his injuries. The shots are of fered by the McHenry County Board of Health with the en dorsement of the McHenry County Medical society. Deaths ERWIN L. MOSS . Fifty-one-year-old Erwin L. Moss who made his home at 621 Grove avenue, Ingleside, died Wednesday, June 14, at North Chicago Veterans Ad ministration hospital. Mr. Moss was born May 28, 1927, in Ladysmith, Wis., the son of Reuben and Vernice Moss. A former resident of Mun- delein, he had made his home in Ingleside for the past 9 years. He was a World War II Air Force veteran and a member of the Disabled Veterans in Round Lake. Prior to retirement in 1972, he was employed by Kemper Valve & Fitting Company in Wauconda. He leaves his wife, Marie (Griffin); four sons, Willard Preston of Ringwood, James Preston of Johnsburg, Oscar Preston, Jr., of Ingleside, and Charles Preston of Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Clemente (Mary) Rosario of Fox River Grove; seventeen grand children; a great grandson; two brothers, Arno Moss of Ladysmith, Wis., and Elwood Moss of Oak Lawn; two sisters, Mrs. George (Virge) Noller of Lakemoor and Donna Flood of Wisconsin; neices; nephews; and other relatives. The Rev. Frank Pieper of Trinity Lutheran church, Ingleside, conducted chapel services Saturday at the K.K. Hamsher funeral home, Fox Lake. Interment followed at Hickory Union cemetery, Antioch. Visiting hours were held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the K.K. Hamsher funeral home. CATHERINE W. OHLSON The mother of a McHenry man, Catherine W. Ohlson of 107 Columbia avenue, Crystal Lake, died at McHenry hospital Saturday, June 17, at the age of 62. Mrs. Ohlson was born in Topeka, Kas., May 12, 1916, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Krieger) Heit. The deceased was a member of St. Thomas Catholic church and the Ladies Guild of the church. She was employed as a secretary for Law Publications company, Chicago. Her husband, LeRoy R. Ohlson, whom she married Dec. 30, 1961, in Crystal Lake, survives along with two sons, Clifford of McHenry and Russell of Miami; five grand children; a great grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Merrill (Elizabeth) Drake of Chicago; and nieces and nephews. HELEN MctURDY Former McHenry resident Helen McCurdy of Crystal Lake died at Woodstock Residence Saturday, June 17, at the age of 69. -- Mrs. McCurdy was born in Chicago Sept. 9, 1909, and had made her home in the Country Club subdivision, McHenry, from 1947 to 1959 at which time she moved to Crystal Lake. Her husband, William, preceded her in death Aug. 24, 1961. Two daughters, Linn Mc Curdy and Pat Stewart, are among survivors. Review Clean Water Plan The McHenry County 208 I^ocal Steering committee will meet Thursday evening, at 7.30, June. 22, at the village hall in Algonquin, to complete the review of the 208 Areawide Water Quality Management plan and to formulate a statement for the public hearings in late June. This meeting will earmark the culmination of over two years of work by 208 program participants in McHenry county. Public comments on the 208 Plan will be welcome at the June 22 meeting or at other times by calling the McHenry County Planning department or the Northeastern Illinois Planning commission.
