It is said a difftculty arose over the way Light-- body handled one of the trucks, and was told his services were no longer a week or so ago: Two young men . came to town and opened negotiations wit: ha man for the purchase of his home. He was to take another house in Libertyville, and pay the difference / in tash The sum needead was $2100 The Libertyville man put up $300 and the two strangers provided the other $1800, showing him a fat wallet, with a twenty dollar bill on the outside. The whole amount was then put in a boxr and left with the local man while his companionys went to Chicago to fix up the deal. The Libertyville man was timid about having so much money in his house and decided to go to Ch+ cago to the home of his daughter. The *boxr was then opened and a fine lot of waste paper was found, not a¥en the §$10 being left on the wallet. The two men evidently are still working to com-- plete the deal, as they have not been seen since. Dennis has the the tin ob in Oakwobd Terrace.
