Operating as a not- for-profit community theatre organization, the WTC is presenting its fourth musical production in one and one-half years. Previous successes include "South Pacific," "Oklahoma!" and last spring s acclaimed 'Camelot." Once again the WTC has exhibited its vitality and broad appeal by casting talent from numerous communities in McHenry county, many of whom have never appeared on the Woodstock stage before Annie Oakley will be played by Laurie Farr of Crystal Lake This is her first appearance with the WTC, but not her first in Woodstock. She was featured as Maria in "Sound of Music" in the Opera house benefit concert "Broadway Sounds" last spring. Frank Butler,- the heart throb of millions and Annie's main target, will be portrayed by Bob Wilbrandt of Woodstock. Bob is a veteran of the WTC, having appeared in all three of the musicals as well as the "Odd Couple" presented this summer. To date, he is best remembered as Curley in "Oklahoima" last fall. Supporting leads include the sometimes co-workers, sometimes brother and sister, always antagonistic pair of Charlie Davenport and Dolly Tate. Charlie is played by Craig Spengel of McHenry. This is Craig's fourth appearance with the WTC, his third as a sup porting lead. Most recently he has appeared as Lancelot in "Camelot". Cory Sheetz of Cary plays the part of Dolly, Frank Butler's assistant. While this is Cory's first appearance with the WTC, she is no Phoung Paul as they celebrate another year on Sept 17 NEED NEWS If you open the paper and there is no column, it is because you, the reader didn't want one I need news Please call in the evenings The , First National Bank of McHenry is Easy to Get to... A newcomer to the WTC, Jerry has appeared once in Wood stock and previous to that he has performed in numerous productions in Florida. These can tankerous old rivals are played by Jerry Collins and Frank Nystal respectively. Both actors are from Woodstock. As Buffalo Bill, Jerry is appearing in his second WTC show. In "Camelot" he was Merlin, the court magician, and previous to that his list of stage credits is long and admirable.
