Vice- president James Zednik, presiding in the absence of Henry Rahn, encouraged members to seriously consider the possibility of offering their services to the city of MeHenry in this capacity Anyone wishing further information on this worthwhile enterprise, should call city hall Financial secretary. Mrs Louise Giel. reported two buses filled for the bus-dinner-theater trip to the Fireside restaurant and Theater at Fort Atkinson, Wis , for which she was collecting at this meeting She will be collecting for the Ice Follies on Nov 15, at the next meeting The three buses for the Ice Follies are practically filled; so early reservations are suggested Mrs Charlotte Wons, m e m b e r s h i p c h a i r l a d y , reported seven new members joining at this meeting They were given a very warm welcome, and encouraged to become active in the club Mrs Wanda Zima, social chairlady. asked for suggestions for the club Christmas dinner party which will be on Monday, Dec 11.
