Among relatives attending were Earl, Mary, Randy, Sherry and Scott Sonnemaker of Omaha, Neb., (Jeff was unable to attend)! Dick, Char, of Woodstock and children. Bob, Steve and Susan Thompson of Woodstock and guests; John, Tracy and Darcy, of Mountain, Wise.; Jerry, Ruth .Ann, Tom, and Felcia of Mountain. Wise.,; Harry, Georgia, Jason and Carrie of Ringwood; Mike. Sue, Mikey and Chris Hogan, Ringwood; and Tom. Pat. Laura. Nancy, Tommy, Jimmy, and Jeanie Parsley of Crystal Lake Relatives, friends and many neighbors which numbered into the hundreds helped them celebrate forty years of bliss. There was a family-style dinner served with cake The tables were adorned with festive cookies, evergreen boughs and candles (We found on many of the plates COW and PIE cookies, and we were just wondering if that was to remind us of the farm). After dinner there was dancing Topping off the occasion was Uncle John making the rounds and kissing all the ladies, wishing them a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year We wish you both many many years of togetherness and happiness CHRISTMAS GATHERINGS Larry and Diane Cristy flew in from Indianola. Iowa to spend part of the Christmas week-end with his parents. Bill and Shirley Cristy, and other family members. On Christmas eve they all joined other members of the Kenneth Cristy family for an evening with Mrs Clara Cristy. The Christophers, Art. Katy, Patty and Dave, drove to Black Creek. Wise, to spend Christ mas with Diane and Gary Linstad. Everyone was kept busy trying to keep little David out of the Christmas tree The folks also spent time with the Howard Linstads of Appleton Friday, Dec. 22 found close friends of Doris and Walt's in for some Christmas cheer and visiting, and making plans for the coming New Year's week­ end. Ed, Diane, Donna, Denise, Janet and Nickie Skidmore came down from Mountain, Wise, for the holiday week-end. They attended the Hogan an­ niversary party on Saturday evening and Christmas eve was spent with Diane's parents, Helen and Chuck Caley. Christmas day the Skidmore house was full with Ed and Diane and girls, and Jackie and Ron Williams and boys, of McHenry. When evening came, so did Dolly, Dick, and Bob and Tim Malsch to visit with all. And of course, the day wouldn't have been complete without Betty and Jerry Vj/illiams. Because they couldn't be here they called to wish all the rest of the family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from way down there in Fort Worth. Texas. They said it was 70 degrees there on Christmas day. (I think I'd still rather have the cold and snow on Christmas). Christmas day saw a full house at the Leonard Acker- man's with Lenny, Laura, little Lisa, Luke, Denise and Taunya, Moochi, Vince, little Mikey, Brian, Cathy, and little Jer- may, Craig and Chris. Grand­ ma and Grandpa sure had fun with their four grandchildren. Jay, Judy and Tim Koehler, and Penny and Kenny Beck stopped in to wish all well in the afternoon. Christmas eve afternoon started the festivities at Lowsville with Linda, Bill, Nicky, Charlie and Beckey Billikas arriving from Dubuque. Christmas eve supper was attended by Linda and Bill and family; Sue, Joh, Donna, Eddie and Marcy Madey of Genoa, 111* Walt and Alice Mae Wilcox, Bob and Sue Low and Bobby, Mabel Thomas, Tom and Ray Lo$ all of McHenry; also Pam and Dan Kehoe of Elkhorn; Patti Miller, Lee and Scott. Santa arrived Christmas Eve with a gift for all. Christmas morning not only brought stockings from Santa but Uncle Ray cooked pancakes for all who arrived in time to eat them Saturday evening, Dec. 23, found Lil and Frank Visconti entertaining Sherry, Ronald, Frankie and Stevie Paulson for dinner. Sunday evening they stopped by to wish Frankie's godmother a Merry Christmas, and then they stopped to visit with Frankie's Grandma Harrison. Christmas day "Lil, Frank and Frankie, Ken, Barb. Wayne, and Windy Brennan and Barb's brother, Russell, stopped in to visit with Aunt Nellie.Christmas day dinner was with Muck and Doe Brennan, with Doe and Frankie having the flu and not enjoying the dinner. Also Christmas morning, Frank and Lil talked by phone to Frank's parents in far off Sicily. Christmas day evening was spent between Lois and Bill Dust's home, and Lil and Frank Visconti's home. The Paul Walkington household was a-buzzing Christmas day, with Lee home. Jay andJan and the girls coming from Addision, and Ida Mae, Clarence, Doug, Chad, Tonya and Lincoln all being there for dinner.
