Jerry broke ftis leg recently in a snowmobile accident and is getting around with a cast. He expects to have surgery on his leg in a couple of weeks. Hope you are getting around good as new by spring thaw, Jerry. PANCAKE BREAKFAST Members of the congregation at Ringwood gathered in the dining room of the church last Sunday morning following services to enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast. About sixty people were served and everyone had a good time visiting. We appreciate the wonderful job done by the committee who planned, served and cleaned up. SEWING WORK DAY Because sewing work day was cancelled in January, Clara Cristy will host the work day in her home on Thursday, Feb. 22, at 10:30. Althea Walkington and Katy Christopher will co-host. CARDCLUB The Paul Walkingtons en­ tertained their "500" card club last Saturday evening. A delicious supper was served at 6:30 p.m. and a very enjoyable evening was spent in playing "500". The high scorers for the evening were Danny Rawson and Dorothy Benoy. Low players for the evening were Doris and Walt Low. Herrmann's proclamation that February is Alcoholism Awareness month. The movie will be presented Feb. 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the Harvard municipal building at 201 West Front street. The movie is offered as part of the Community Education program of the Family Service and Community Mental Health Center of McHenry County Karl Koch. Alcoholism coun­ selor. and Chris Tredup, psychiatric social worker, will host the presentation. Both work in the Harvard com­ munity and will be available to answer any questions following the movie.
