Lincoln". •Your Abraham Lincoln's life as a ° store clerk, surveyor, aspiring lawyer and 16th president is revealed full-cycle once again during this season's per formance schedule of the play, "Your Obedient Servant, A. Lincoln." Staged outdoors at New Salem State park, where ^incoln lived for six years during the 1830's, the theater event is a musical and dramatic chronicle that takes the audience from Lincoln's log cabin birthplace to the White House and the turmoil of the Civil War. A tiered and multi-level stage at Kelso Hollow outdoor theater sets the scene for actors and actresses of the Great American People show. Ac claimed for its sensitive mix of authentic historical documents and period music, the play offers Springfield area travelers a / chance to tour many Lincoln landmarks. New Salem's refurbished log homes include the\ old cooperage where the president once studied law books by the light of a flickering hearth fire. "Your Obedient Servant, A. Lincoln" is performed nightly at 8 p.m., except Mondays, through Aug 25.
