Subcommittees designed to examine medical, income maintenance and social ser vices topics have been established and have had a number of meetings since last March. Each subcommittee has identified a range of issues and is currently undertaking an in-depth analysis and review of many issues. For example, the Social Services subcommittee is examining social services on the basis of state-wide needs, dependent populations and types of services needed. The Income Maintenance sub committee is examining the challenging task of work, work requirements and work in centives. Medicaid ad ministration is but one of the topics under review by the subcommittee on Medical Payments. Q. What are the next meeting dates for a hearing of the full Public Aid rewrite com mission? A. A hearing has been scheduled for July 19 in Marion, 111., and July 20 in East St. Louis. These hearings are fact finding sessions designed to examine and become acquainted with the situation in rural southern Illinois and the East St. Louis metropolitan area.
