BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF SUNNYSIDE, McHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: That the following sums, or so much thereof as may be authorised by law, be and the same are hereby appropriated for the corporate purposes of the Village of Sunnyside, Illinois, to defray all necessary expenses and liabilities of said Village of suhnyside, as hereinafter specified, for the fiscal year commencing on the first day of May, 1979, A.D., and ending on the thirtieth day of April, 1980, to-wit: -- A M O U N T APPROPRIATED GENERAL GOVERNMENT: A-l Salaries $ 4,700.00 A-2 Office Supplies Expenses 250.00 A-S. Lund-Publisher Adele Froehlich-Editor j: MEMBER PQz NATIONAL NEWSPAPER utocitliliT rnmi im> N N A S U S T A I N I N G MEMBER -- <979 fitt Prm lift 1 In McHenry County employed in any public works by the State, county, city or any public body or any political subdivision or by any one under contract for public works,,r approved June 26, 1941, as amended, being Section 39s-l through 39s-12, Chapter 48, Illinois Revised Statutes, 1973; and, WHEREAS, the aforesaid Act requires that the Village Board of the VILLAGE OF LAKEMOOR investigate and ascertain the prevailing rate of wages as defined in said Act for laborers, mechanics, and other workmen in the locality of said Village, employed in per­ forming construction of public works for said Village, ex­ clusive of maintenance work,, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LAKEMOOR, McHenry County, Illinois, as follows: SECTION I: To the extent and as required by "An ACT regulating wages of laborers, mechanics, and other workmen employed in any public works by the State, county, city or any public body or any political subdivision or by any one under contract for public works," approved June 26, 1941, as amended, the general prevailing rate of wages in this locality for laborers, mechanics, and other workmen engaged in the construction of public works coming under the jurisdiction of this Village, is hereby ascertained to be the same as the prevailing rate of wages for construction work in McHenry County area as determined by the Department of Labor of the State of Illinois as of May 1979, a copy of that determination being attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. The definition of any terms appearing in this Ordinance which are also used in the aforesaid Act shall be the same as in said Act. SECTION 2: Nothing herein contained shall be construed to apply said general prevailing rate of wages as herein ascertained to any work or employment except public works construction of this Village to the extent required by the aforesaid.Act. SECTION 3: The Village Clerk shall publicly post or CERTIFICATE I, Betty Messer Clerk of said Village of Sunnyside, Illinois, do hereby certify that the above and foregoing is a full, true and correct copy of the ANNUAL APPROPRIATION Ordinance passed by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sunnyside on the date above given, and the dates and data referred to in the Annual Appropriation Bill as set forth are correct. SECTION 5: The Village Clerk shall promptly file a certified copy of this Ordinance with both the Secretary of State and the Department of Labor of the State of Illinois. SECTION 6: The Village Clerk shall cause to be published in a newspaper of general circulation within the area a copy of this Ordinance, and sucn publication shall constitute notice that the determination is effective and that this is the determination of this public body. v PASSED this 12th day of July, 1979.
