It usually has less fat and more lean meat than ground beef. As a result, "chuck" will shrink less in cooking and contains enough fat for good flavor and juiciness. The Hiawatha Gem and Mineral society will meet Tuesday, Aug. 7, at 7:30 p.m., at the Lake Villa township hall, corner of Fairfield road and Grand avenue. An interesting film, provided by the Midwest Federation of Gem and Mineral Societies, will be shown, en titled, "The American Parks." Anyone interested in rocks,' minerals or fossils is invited to the meeting. Refreshments will be served. The trumpets of the Scoots hit a high note.
