Carol's mom is just fine and never had an ac cident; it was Carol's . grandmother, Mrs. Agnes Frere who fell and fractured her pelvic bone. Mrs. Frere is home from the hospital and visiting with her daughter here in McHenry. (They say that the country life is great for mending and healing). Also, Michael did not sprain his writs; he sprained his ankle. We were not too far off, wrist, ankle, all part of the same body. the next time we take a story we will write the particulars down and not pressure the old memory, which is failing. TROOP 464 NEWS Brownie troop 464 is again mee t ing on Tuesday a f ternoons at Valley View school. On Oct. 19, nine girls were invested as Brownie Girl Scouts at an evening cand le l igh t ce remony . Leadership team Pat Barnes and Trish Eiserman were very proud of Mara Blum, Jennifer Bonea, Eden Brancheau, Kristina Brit- tian, Becky Harnish, Tracy Morjal, Jennifer Sawin, Maureen Stuckmeyer and Laura Vistne. Due to cold and drippy weather on Oct, 23, the field trip to Moraine Hills was postponed till spring. They spent the day turning baby food jars into witches filled with candy corn. On Oct. 30, the girls celebrated Halloween with a party and had lots of good food and fun. They also learned about founders day, a special day honoring Juliette Gordon Low, foundb^of girl scouting in america. CUB PACK 194 Cub Pack 194 celebrated their Halloween party after their monthly meeting. Many awards were given to the cubs who have worked very hard in their dens. It was announced at the meeting, that this would be the' last pack meeting for scoutmaster Ed Fowler. The news surprised everyone and Mr. Fowler will cer tainly be missed for all the wonderful things he has done for Pack 192. Another hard working person, Mrs. Trunk resigned her office. Both these wonderful people have done more than their share, and both will be missed. BABY BOY! Beatrice and Stanley Krom, 1706 N.
